our arrival

So, we arrived at our new home on 9th June 2022. We were very nervous, but that was Mum and Dads fault because they were so excited to see us and kept fussing around us! All we wanted to do was explore our new home but then Mum and Dad decided to feed us, which we thought was really cool of them! We didn’t want to disappoint them so, as you can see above, we soon tucked in. We were small enough that we could both share from one bowl – just a few weeks later we can’t do that anymore!

After dinner they tried to get us to play with this ‘giraffe tail’ thing. They kept waving it in our faces but we were too nervous – after all, our real Cat Mummy told us to beware of strangers! So we stuck together and kept our distance!

We did let Mum and Dad have a little fuss with us but they seemed more interested in making us stand in something called a ‘litter tray’. Don’t know why – it was sooooo boring! And the texture on our little paws felt really weird. We just wanted to go and play and explore!

But by now it was dark and Mum and Dad disappeared behind a door and told us to go to sleep. We were soooo pleased they had finally gone because we were so tired. They don’t realise how tiring it is being a kitten!
